Our January 25th Annual Pinewood Derby is approaching fast. Below is our schedule for the day. In addition, if anyone is available to help set up the track on Friday Jan 24th, please meet at the church around 9:30pm.
Going on the assumption most folks won't have valentine's day plans until evening, we've rescheduled the Pinewood Derby for the morning of 2/14 with the same schedule previously set forth on the new day.
Attached are the rules for the Pinewood derby which will be held the morning of our 'lock-in' at the church; Saturday, January 28th. This year we are also going to hold a sibling/family race, which will be unscored. These cars can be from your scout's prior year(s) car, and can be modified outside the rules of the scouting race - essentially, if it fits the track it can race. If you'd like to purchase a car kit, they are available at the scout store in the mall.
