Hi everyone, ACM Daryl, who has been coordinating the PALA (Scout Strong) initiative the last few months has asked anyone with a completed form, please scan and email it to him by the end of the month. Thanks.
As you know, the scouts will be marching in the Hurley Memorial Day parade next Monday. This is *not* a 'fun' parade (like St. Patrick's Day or Children's Day), there will be no float for the scouts, everyone will be marching in two lines and expected to behave as scouts in a respectful manner - remember we're honoring all the soldiers who have given their lives for us.
Hi Pack 103 Families, 'Tis the season for paperwork, right? Sadly, we have another piece of paperwork which everyone needs to complete. Please visit the following website, review the Parent's Guide to Youth Protection (a scaled-down/family-focused version of what all our leaders take annually) and then complete the exercises beginning on page 19 with your scouts:
Note: This is an annual requirement and required for *every* scout to get their rank, so if it seems familiar, that's why. Upon completion, please inform your den leaders so they can mark it so.
Starting Monday, February 4th, the Pack 103 Den Meetings and Pack Meetings will take place at George Washington Elementary.
Den Meetings on Monday will start at 6:30 PM. We will have a parent volunteer or leader at the front door letting families and scouts in. They will also direct you toward the cafeteria to meet up with your den. Please plan to arrive on time.
Hi Pack 103 families, In preparation for this month's virtual pack meeting, I'd like to run a photo contest of sorts.
I challenge each scout to take a photo of an outdoor scene. Perhaps a photo from a hike they go on, a fish they caught, or a scene they find peaceful. The rules are simple. The photo should be taken by the scout (parents can help!), of something they are doing outdoors, or while doing something outdoors. Please post them in the family facebook group - or email them to CT. The winner(s) will receive some special recognition (yet to be determined). Please submit all photos by 5/13, winners will be announced at the virtual pack meeting.
