Summer Camp 2022 - Leadership needed

Posted on Apr 8 2022 - 4:54pm

Greetings families of Pack 103!

We're reaching out looking for some adult leadership.  The pack membership voted back in January to attend Camp Rotary this summer.   The week for Cub camp is (Sun -> Wed.) July 24-27.

Unfortunately, the Pack leadership (Cubmaster and Assistants) are all unavailable that week, so we're reaching out to the pack to see if there are any adult leaders (or parents who would like to be an adult leader) who could run/manage this event.

For more information about the camp, you can visit:   https://rsrbsa.org/cubcamp/

If you're interested, please contact C.T.

Thanks!

Summer Camp Information Meeting - Monday June 17th @ Loughran Park Pavilion

Posted on Jun 14 2019 - 8:23am
Only for those who are registered for summer camp at Camp Kingsley, there will be an important pre-summer camp planning meeting on Monday, June 17th at 6:30 pm at the Loughran Park Pavilion. At the meeting on the 17th we will go over what to pack, where to meet and what time, and a sample schedule for activities that will take place during our time at Camp Kingsley. This meeting is a great opportunity as well for families to share ideas, resources, and tips.

If you happen to have them completed already, we will collect the camp physical forms (3 copies please, you keep the originals) and paperwork for all adults and scouts at this time.

If you don't have the forms completed yet, no worries. Please still attend this meeting! I just need to have them in hand at least a few days prior to our arrival at camp on July 17th. All adults and scouts attending camp must have completed medical paperwork in advance of us attending camp this summer. I have attached the digital versions of the paperwork to this post. If you need a hard copy of these forms, please contact me and I will make sure you have a set prior to the meeting.

If you are an adult planning on attending camp you must be a registered leader. Parents who are attending with their children need to get to me (or Stephanie) a completed adult application form, your Youth Protection Training certificate (https://www.scouting.org/training/youth-protection/), and your $33 registration fee.

Thanks! Please send any questions in advance if you have them.

- Mike

Summer Events

Posted on Jul 21 2021 - 2:00pm

Hi everyone,
I apologize for how late in July this note is coming out, but our plans for the summer activities are finally pulled together.

Starting with next week, we're going to have a short evening hike at Franny Reese state park in Highland.  This will be Wednesday evening at 6:30pm, July 28th.  We'll meet at the parking lot for Johnson-Iorio park just past the parking area for the Walkway.  281 Haviland Rd, Highland, NY 12528
Wear proper footwear and class B uniform shirt.  Be sure to bring water.  The only catch is, due to COVID, our group size is restricted to 25, so we will need you to signup to attend, first-come, first-served:
