Hi everyone, In addition to everyone who may have opted to participate in the council offering of a virtual summer camp ('camp in a box'), the July Pack event is going to be a virtual Bingo game (to encourage scouts to get outdoors). Those who participate in either will meet their "July" activity for the Summertime Activity Award. To complete this award, a scout must participate in an event in all 3 summer months - June, July and August. The June event was our advancement parade; these are the options for July.
To participate in the bingo game, simply download the attached bingo sheet, go outside and complete it. It's that simple. When it's complete, take a photo of the completed bingo card (or if you don't have a printer - using a cell phone or computer to mark off the squares is acceptable as well) and send it to C.T. so he can mark it down. In the meantime, we welcome everyone to share their adventures in the family Facebook group.
As discussed at the last two Pack meetings, the June picnic is coming up on 6/20 starting at noon with setup (for anyone who can help) around 11:30. The Pack will provide meat and drinks, we're asking for everyone else to bring a dish to share. I've put together a sign up sheet here:
My den test-drove it and it seems to work well. Please mark what you're bringing and look at others so we don't have too many duplicates if possible. If you signed up at the April Pack meeting, I have already put your entry on there. Let me know if you have problems, questions or concerns.
Unfortunately, at this time, we have to postpone our June picnic until further notice. We will likely reschedule it for August and use it as a 19-20 wrap up *and* 2020-21 "program launch". Stay tuned.
Hi Everyone, It's that time - the end of the program year! It's hard to believe how fast this scouting year has gone - in just about a week all our scouts will be crossing over into their next rank den. To celebrate the year, we invite everyone to join us to Robert Post Park in the town of Ulster for our picnic and crossover ceremony on Saturday, June 8th. We'll begin at Noon - the scouts can enjoy the playground while the Cubmasters cook, and around 2 we'll begin our ceremony. This year's picnic will be a bit unique as we'll also be crossing our Webelos 2 scouts into the new "Scouts, BSA" program! To help, we ask if everyone could RSVP with headcount and bring a dish to share. You can sign up here:
Please sign up to bring a dish. The Pack will provide the hamburgers, hotdogs, water and bug juice. When you sign up, please indicate what you're bringing in the "Personal Message" field.
