   I wanted to share with you this voluntary recall issued today from BSA National in the event anyone has one of these pins and wishes to have it replaced:

Hi everyone,
    In addition to everyone who may have opted to participate in the council offering of a virtual summer camp ('camp in a box'), the July Pack event is going to be a virtual Bingo game (to encourage scouts to get outdoors).  Those who participate in either will meet their "July" activity for the Summertime Activity Award.   To complete this award, a scout must participate in an event in all 3 summer months - June, July and August.   The June event was our advancement parade; these are the options for July.  

To participate in the bingo game, simply download the attached bingo sheet, go outside and complete it.  It's that simple.   When it's complete, take a photo of the completed bingo card (or if you don't have a printer - using a cell phone or computer to mark off the squares is acceptable as well) and send it to C.T. so he can mark it down.  In the meantime, we welcome everyone to share their adventures in the family Facebook group.

    Thanks to everyone who participated in the Bonus Pin program.  I will be ordering those pins this weekend.  If you have not told me you've completed it - or your den leader - please do so ASAP!

Hi everyone,
   It saddens me to have to inform you all that Camp Kingsley will not be having summer camp this year.  See their statement here:

   Pack 103 will be refunding the deposits paid to the families. 

   However, our neighboring council to the south (Hudson Valley Council) is running a virtual summer camp.  The details can be found here:

   and at this point, it may be the best opportunity for summer scouting, so I would encourage everyone (this would be done on a family basis - not a pack) to consider it.  If you do sign up, please remember your scout will be a rank ahead of their current rank (e.g. if your scout is currently a Lion, they will be a Tiger for summer camp; likewise tiger->wolf, wolf->bear, bear->webelos, webelos->aol).
