Probably the biggest project for our Bears this year is our Halloween Carnival.  For the "Grin and Bear It" loop, our scouts need to create and run a carnival.  In the past years, this has been done to coincide with our Halloween Party, and we're going to do the same this year.  So, with 5 weeks to go, we wanted to get this ball rolling as it will require parental involvement for both the construction and running.  This should be a fun activity for you and your scout to do together, it's not meant to be a tremendous challenge.   In the coming weeks, each scout should design and create a game to run (maybe with posters too), determine the rules, and what it means to "win" the game.  If supplies are needed, please let me know.   I will be providing some candy for each station to give out as prizes.
