Webelos Woods

Webelos Woods is for Webelos 2's. The pack pays for each Webelos and adult to go to Webelos Woods. Sign up through the Pack with John Gallo or Jerry. Below is the form with info and a packing list that you can download.

Time to Start a New Year of Cub Scouts!!!!!!!

Hi everyone, 

 

A new fun filled year of Cub Scouts is upon us. We will be kicking off the year like we always do, with a fun Ice Cream Social on Monday September 16th at 6:30pm. This is our chance to get back together and say hi, welcome new and prospective cub scouts, and get everyone re-registered for the upcoming year. We will have registration forms for all scouts as well as the Rain Gutter Regatta Boat kits. The registration fee for the year remains unchanged at $40 per scout ($35 for each additional scout in multiple scout families).

Hike at Ferncliff Thursday August 22nd.  Meet there at 6:30 and after the hike we'll reconvine in Kingston (location will either be Boice Bros. or Jolly Cow) for Ice Cream.  

Pack Train Ride:

We have scheduled a fun event for August in the form of a special train ride. Pack 103 will have the Catskill Mountain Rail Road all to ourselves on Saturday August 17th at noon. Children (including brothers and sisters) are free thanks to the rail road group. The pack will pay for one adult from each family, and additional adults are $6.00 each. This will also be our popcorn sale kickoff event so we will have popcorn sheets, prize information, show and sell signups and information about our Fall Trip. So come on out and have a great time.

Popcorn Sale:

Speaking of Popcorn, our sale starts at the end of August. To all parents, in an effort to set up as many show and sells possible we are asking for some help. We are in need of parent volunteers that are willing to be responsible for a show and sell day during the popcorn sale. Basically, for the day you volunteer for you would be responsible for set up and take down of the popcorn booth and be available by phone during the time the sale is going on in case there is problems, a hole in the schedule or last minute cancellation by someone scheduled to sell popcorn. Show and sell days are mainly Saturday and Sundays from the weekend of August 24th through Columbus Day weekend in October. If you can help with one or more sale days please email Phoebe McDonough at phoebemcd626@gmail.com in the next week so she can determine how many show and sell dates we can have and order popcorn.
